Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Diane is a well-experienced Advanced HCA and works with Nola in assisting with nursing duties and works under the supervision of the GPs

She is fully trained to undertake a variety of tasks including -


Flu , Pneumonia Zoladex and B12 injections

Inr management and dosaging

General Dietary Advice

Asthma Checks and COPD checks including Spirometry

Initial Diabetic advice

Dressings and wound management including stitch and staple removal

Travel Advice

Contraception and Pill Checks
